Music Font. Do you want to insert a musical note, a note staff or a bar in your word processor? It is possible.
Through this site you can acquire a font that allows you to type musical notes in your word processor.

These font ( SicilianoXP.ttf ) are freeware. Windows ( XP - Vista )

So now you can type symbols with "SicilianoXP", like you normally type words with "Arial" or "Times new roman"

Suggestions:

Print the keyboard image: Click on the image with the right mouse-button and choose "save image as". Open the word processor or drawing-programme and insert the image. Print the keyboard.

Zoom in 150%: zoom in so you can see the symbols clearly enough.

Choose font size 24: this size goes with "Arial 12".

Unknown symbol: If you press a key that doesn't have a symbol, for instance L, you print a C D

Make a staff: Choose font size 36 - 48. Press '0' a few times (no spaces). It is possible you don't see 5 lines on your screen, depending on the word processor and/or font size. This doesn't influence what you print though.

Make a music page: Press Enter a few times. Place the cursor in the right position and type a staff. Don't press Enter, just move the cursor. Repeat this until your page is filled with staffs.

Drawing-programme: You should try this font in your drawing-programme some time.

Notes: When you use newer versions of word processors, we recommend you change certain automatic settings, for instance a capital letter at the beginning of a sentence or numbers during typing.

With MS Word: Extra / Autocorrection.

Install Windows: XP - Vista

Copy the file 'Siciliano.ttf' with your windows explorer to the directory:

c:\ Windows \ Fonts

When you open your word processor, 'Siciliano' will be mentioned in between the other fonts.
